I have a confession to make. I'm just slightly obsessed with wallpaper. This is not your 1990's grandmas bathroom wallpaper. Wallpaper has come a LONG way over the years and I'm so excited that it is back in a BIG way!
Wallpaper now is much easier to put on and take off which is a huge win in case you look up 10 years from now and decide to change things up a bit. Geometric shapes, texture surfaces, and yes, even floral is back. I'm especially loving the textured wallpaper trend. This is by far my favorite. Wallpaper is now designed to look like tin, wood or even rock and stone. I've had clients literally walk up and touch the wall because they didn't believe that what they were looking at was wallpaper.
Any area of the home is now up for grabs for wallpaper. I've put wallpaper in bathrooms, but I've also put it in guest rooms, laundry rooms and even on the ceiling. The sky is the limit when it comes to using wallpaper. The key is to use good quality wallpaper. Don't skimp! Wallpaper is much cheaper then using actual wood, tin or stone, so why not splurge on a good quality wallpaper? It will pay off in the end.
